Vancouver Island Entertainment Inc. is a locally owned and operated company created by a group of entrepreneurs committed to the enhancement of Victoria's tourism industry. The Vancouver Island Entertainment Center (VIE Center) is the vision of these entrepreneurs who wish to enhance Victoria as a world class tourism destination. Anchored in the North Douglas area of Downtown, the Center is expected to attract thousands of visitors and will help revitalize the Douglas Street corridor between Hillside and Bay Streets.

The VIE Center is a destination for visitors. A place, where people can come to stay and stay to play. It will feature five-star hotel accommodations, meeting spaces, a dinner theatre, restaurants, a pool with waterslides and a casino. If approved, the Center will house one of only two independently operated, provincially regulated casinos in British Columbia. The new Center will feature some of the finest facilities in the City.
